In every Salvation Army bandroom - without fail - there will be at least one black and white photo of the band from decades ago. I really like looking at them - this poster advertises the visit of the 'Faroese band' to Norway in 1935 - the size of the band is pretty impressive when you know that in 1935, the Salvation Army had only been on the Faroes for 11 years, and they'd only had a band for 2.

I just had this vision of the future with some kid sploging (which will be space bloging, something I can't describe as it hasn't been invented yet) and he'll upload some realy old picture from Southend Citadel in 2008 with some weird hairstyles (Josh) :-)
