I was VERY close to forgetting to take a photo today. Fortunately I have my phone by my bed.

As I pointed out before - ignore the Piriton advert. It is not possible to see the London Eye from this part of Southend High Street. Or any part of the High Street in fact, as London is 40 miles away, and is due east, whereas the High Street faces south.

Today I was Handy Andy, but ended up getting a splinter of wood stuck in my thumb. It is killing me, but is COMPLETELY invisible. I have no idea where it went in or how to get it out. Humph.

SNOW!!!

I went to see my friend in hospital today and there was a beautiful view over the town. I really wanted to take a picture of it, but the big fat sign on the wall said 'No cameras'. That was annoying. I didn't actually have my camera with me anyway though (who takes a camera to the hospital?) so there wasn't really a lot I could have done about it. But if I had had my camera, and if the sun had been setting, and if the hospital was on the seafront, then my photo may have looked a little like this:This is actually a photo of Southend pier I found on Google and then photographed.

Today I spent the whole day studying, I'm afraid. Well, I'm not afraid.

Thursday = Scrubs Day! (Not officially).

Apparently today is 'Fat Wednesday', according to the papers, where people realise that summer is four months away, there's nothing to be excited about and they eat more than they do on any other day of the year, bar Christmas Day. I don't buy it.

I passed my Grade 8 Irish whistle exam!!
