I haven't seen this much Blossom since I used to watch it at 6 on a Friday night before Cubs.

Tuesday, April 29, 2008

I was VERY close to forgetting to take a photo today. Fortunately I have my phone by my bed.

Note to self: Check your train timetable. Don't plan day around train that doesn't exist.

The Godfather Part II (Click here for Part I).

Now that I've actually put the clock up (See here), maybe I'll start to see a difference...

Friday, April 25, 2008

I spent THREE hours trying to convince the anti-virus programme to allow me into my emails...

Thursday, April 24, 2008

Michael Wilburton, the squirrel that hangs around our department at uni. I named him myself.

Wednesday, April 23, 2008

St George's Day (Incidentally, the only flag I saw in London today, but I wasn't really looking for them...).

Tuesday, April 22, 2008

Great. The hayfever season is here.

Monday, April 21, 2008

Carnaby Street. A little Disney-fied, too commercialised and globalised - but I love it.

Sunday, April 20, 2008

I've got pretty big hair at the moment... Liking it.

Saturday, April 19, 2008

It's like the first mouthpiece there ever was...

Friday, April 18, 2008

As I pointed out before - ignore the Piriton advert. It is not possible to see the London Eye from this part of Southend High Street. Or any part of the High Street in fact, as London is 40 miles away, and is due east, whereas the High Street faces south.

Thursday, April 17, 2008

Today I was Handy Andy, but ended up getting a splinter of wood stuck in my thumb. It is killing me, but is COMPLETELY invisible. I have no idea where it went in or how to get it out. Humph.

And I've been a senior soldier in The Salvation Army for exactly ten years this weekend. And that's an honour. And I'm getting old!

Saturday, April 12, 2008

Beaconsfield.

Friday, April 11, 2008

Today was like the productivistist day...

Thursday, April 10, 2008

Katie, with your last comment (here), were you trying to imply that my hair doesn't look good at the moment? I beg to differ...Straight out of an H&M catalogue... No?

Wednesday, April 9, 2008

Anyone seen my glasses? (Arf, arf)

Tuesday, April 8, 2008

I love how London's so big and bustling, but also really green...

Monday, April 7, 2008

Southend's on the radio! (I should point out that the '100 miles' refers to the number of miles left on the tank, not the speed of the car. And no, I wasn't driving at the time this photo was taken [I have to cover myself!])

Saturday, April 5, 2008

I went to see my friend in hospital today and there was a beautiful view over the town. I really wanted to take a picture of it, but the big fat sign on the wall said 'No cameras'. That was annoying. I didn't actually have my camera with me anyway though (who takes a camera to the hospital?) so there wasn't really a lot I could have done about it. But if I had had my camera, and if the sun had been setting, and if the hospital was on the seafront, then my photo may have looked a little like this:This is actually a photo of Southend pier I found on Google and then photographed.

Friday, April 4, 2008

Today I spent the whole day studying, I'm afraid. Well, I'm not afraid.

Thursday, April 3, 2008

Thursday = Scrubs Day! (Not officially).

Wednesday, April 2, 2008

Apparently today is 'Fat Wednesday', according to the papers, where people realise that summer is four months away, there's nothing to be excited about and they eat more than they do on any other day of the year, bar Christmas Day. I don't buy it.

Tuesday, April 1, 2008

I passed my Grade 8 Irish whistle exam!!
