I took this for my Icelandic friend, because the headline of today’s paper is in Icelandic, and I don't think many foreign newspapers carry Icelandic headlines... It reads ‘God bless the Faroese’ and was written in a letter (one of many apparently) from Icelanders to the Faroese newspapers, as the Faroese have been the first nation to give Iceland financial support following the crisis (a whopping 300 million Danish kroner – about £30 million).
