That took willpower. My brother and his mate were getting pizzas in, but I went for... salmon.

A queue to get into the British Library. I need to go in, but I can't bring myself to join a queue for a library.

In the end I did join because the queue got massive.

Yes! Finally got my Father's Day present for my Dad. I realise that Father's Day was in fact last Sunday, but I had this on order. It'll just have to be a birthday present (don't worry, I got him something else for Father's Day. He didn't miss out).

And I've forgiven my phone.

Today I'm a little annoyed. Well, more disappointed. On this, the 199th day of mitchenstein365, I have no photo to show you. I knew this was going to happen because my phone's been playing up. Today I took a photo of the crest on the wall of The Salvation Army in Rayleigh, because I led my first ever Salvation Army meeting there. I get home and the photo has disappeared from my phone. It's just gone. That's quite frustrating. I've looked in every possible folder, but it ain't there. I did think that this would put an end to the whole mitchenstein365 project, but then I remembered that my aim was to take a photo every single day and I did - you're just not going to get to see this one.

(Plus, this year's a leap year, so you'll still be getting 365 photos in all. My phone is officially banned from taking any further part in the project).

This is the time I had my shower today... I'm not proud of it (Well, actually I am, but the fact I put it on here does show it doesn't happen very often!) - Actually, I got distracted and it was an hour later than this. But being a slob occasionally is ok.

I tidied my room. I do have a carpet, and it turns out it's blue.

This is what it might be like to be a tourist in London... (Piccadilly just doesn't look the same without Burger King there).

Two weeks ago, I said that Aldgate Station was starting to look like a garden centre. I have a feeling other people are thinking the same. My first clue was when I heard a man say today 'this is starting to look like a garden centre'. We now have hanging baskets.

I have had a REALLY productive day. And that makes me look like this.

I know I complained about the weather last week, but man, this is hot.

Guilty. Tonight we had Cafe Church at The Salvation Army and I was in trouble for having eaten the last butterfly cake. (Fortunately we found a whole crate of butterfly cakes later on).

A group of us from The Salvation Army band went to play at a service for the launch of a new lifeboat. Unforunately it was cold and wet and some people were so desperate to see the new lifeboat that they completely surrounded us and we were unable to see or hear anything. So I took a photo of myself to pass the time.

Today was a reading day... Tired, unkempt, but happy :)

Feeling rough today - but luckily I have a fairly substantial supply of Strepsils. This is an attractive photo of me though, isn't it?

Man, I forgot my phone today... That makes meeting people and telling the time difficult! (And phoning people I guess...)

I am so fed-up of this weather. I'm fed up of constantly smelling 'damp' everywhere.

I've had many reasons for delayed trains, but 'An Army Investigation' has to be the most exciting! It turned out they'd found an unexploded World War Two bomb near the railway. This is the queue to get into Fenchurch Street station (which fortunately I didn't have to do - but I did have to get out of it!).

I'd taken my camera to our youth group but forgot to take any photos, so my brother let me take a nice one of him in the car.
