HUGE improvement today - I was able to go for a bit of a stroll, and I thought I'd take a photo of my favourite bookshop. I love this place! It was also the place to come for all your Mariah Carey-sticker needs, but after I mentioned them on my blog, they obviously became collectable, and are no more.

Rough and needing a shave, I was able to sit up (and even take a shower!):

I woke up this morning, unable to move, eat or drink... I have never felt this rough in my life. By 6pm, I'd managed to get to the shop over the road because I knew I had to drink something with sugar in it. While it may seem like a boring photo (well, it is), getting this bottle was a major achievement!

Not content with building their homes on the edges on cliffs, the Faroese like to make it as tough as possible to get in:

Today I received a DVD with some episodes of Harry Hill's TV Burp from England. Please tell me this Hole in the Wall programme isn't real... Faroe Islands, I'm sorry, but my people need me!

This is me sitting working in the library. Take note of the massive metal light next to my head. Every time I hit my head on the light (not a rare occurrence), the lampshade works as a giant gong, sending a HUGE ringing sound around the building...

The choir from the Salvation Army did a concert at this church on the island of Vágar (and unfortunately, due to the tunnel being closed for buidling works, we had to wait until midnight to travel back!).

I decided to have a new profile picture done (well, by me) for my blog, rather than one that says I have bad hair and I like Neighbours (although I don't know whether I like this one as much as I did when it was smaller on my camera...).

I'm VERY excited about my advent calendar... (It's a proper Cadbury's one and everything!)

You'll notice that my shoulder has no bag on it, because it was nicked :( (not from my shoulder!)

You don't see graffiti very often in the Faroe Islands. In fact, this is the only piece I know of. But I thought it was quite interesting because it's in Romanian. How did that get here?!
