Today was a big day for the Mitchinson family for several reasons. It involved a lot of Waiting.

This photo was taken at Southchurch Corps, but these posters are found at Salvation Army churches up and down the country. The poster on the right shows a photo that everyone says looks like me. Today marked the start of the Wind Band at the corps (Salvation Army church). This is my first real failure in the Project - this is a picture of an oboe reed which was supposed to be arty, and it looked quite good on the camera. However it's dark and blurry on here. I didn't take any other photos, so this will have to do!

I almost forgot to take a photo today. Fifteen minutes before midnight struck, I got home and managed it. I think I look like a crazy scientist here, but you can decide for yourselves.

Driving in my car. For the record, I'd just like to point out that of course I'm not actually driving, as that would be dangerous. I am sitting in my car. But that didn't sound as good, so I went with 'driving in my car' (see first sentence).

That's a lot of books... The British Library, St Pancras (I realise this blog is becoming a bit of a King's Cross Tourist Website, but that's where I'm spending rather a lot of time at the moment!)
