Anna helped me sort out music for the YP Band today. I told her it would take a couple of hours - seven hours later, we decided to call it a night - thanks Anna!

Met up with my friend Patrick today - hadn't seen him in yonks. In the past, Patrick has had some difficulty smiling for my photos - but didn't he do well today? (I didn't realise he would be smiling, so that explains me over-compensating).

Today was a fairly dull day, spent by my computer... So I couldn't really take a photo of anything else. And I appear to be in the middle of typing the word 'hnu'.

I'm attempting to go to bed earlier - aren't I doing well?

It was great to meet up with some friends from Germany in London today... (Well, Kersten's not German, but I know her from Germany). A couple of others couldn't make it, but we took them along anyway. This is in St. James' Park (one of my favourite spots in London, and a place I take anyone who comes to London).

This is my Dad's trombone, which got him rather a lot of attention in the meeting today. Poor Dad had been suffering with a cough and in the middle of Now Thank We All Our God, he coughed INTO the trombone while playing. The noise was so loud that everyone was laughing. Poor guy!

Mitchenstein gets arty again...

In all my years of being in London, I'd never been to Portobello Road, so I decided to go and check it out... Pretty cool!

I took a lot of scenic photos when I was in the Faroes, and it dawned on me that I never do that here. So here goes:

We had a three-legged race in the meeting tonight, but I had to organise it and didn't get to take part. Until I got home that is. (Not all the legs are mine).

On my travels today I passed through Deptford. And I discovered that it was the oldest passenger-only station in London, so I thought that deserved a photo... I forget why now, but here it is (and my brother's patiently waiting for his older brother to get on with it).

Went to see Wicked tonight, and it was pretty good. Not one of my favourites, but the singing from Kerry Ellis was amazing.
